I am endlessly fascinated by mimicry, the body, and the performative operation of text. Much of my work finds itself in the coming together of disparate areas of research – dialogues between and across disciplines. The intense and troubled relationship between text and the medium of performance is integral to my practice, as are the processes of translation between visual, discursive and bodily languages. My work moves towards an enactment of these dialogues, a making-visible of these processes of pursuit, towards an embodied practice of research.
