Using provocation as a strategy to entangle his viewer, Clara Ianni disrupts the public space or gallery through objects and interventions, which combine simple aesthetics with a critical reflection on the sociopolitical reality. She estranges the objects from their initial function or natural form by introducing them into a different reality or transforming the object itself with a poetically reduced formal outlook. By creating provocative contexts, Clara investigates strangeness and the danger as an artistic strategy, creating situations that are subtle but loaded with a subversive reflection on contemporary life and its political dynamics.
